Purple has sweatbands

Purple 'helps' The Man exercise.

We think the little purple guy has watched too many "Rocky" movies. He has the tiniest sweatband around his little ears (we don't have any idea where he got it either), and carries a stopwatch.

Only it's not a real stopwatch. It looks like an Altoid mint on a string with little numbers drawn on it. But he carries it around and pumps his little fist in the air like a coach.

The Man will go out for a three mile run and Purple flies along with him, sometimes in front of him facing backwards (yep, these little guys fly in all directions), cheering him on.

It's quite amusing. Kinda hard not to laugh at him, he's so earnest about helping The Man work out. Even while The Man is lifting weights, Purple will nod his head like he's counting reps. He'll sit on The Man's back as The Man does push-ups, hopping up and down as if his little 3oz body could effect anything. But he's just sooo cute about it!

Then again, so's The Man. (grin)
